Joe has served as President of RiteCheck Cashing, a licensed check cashing firm with twelve locations in Harlem and the Bronx, since 1989. As a long-time practitioner in the financial services market for lower income Americans, he’s found creative solutions and products to benefit low income consumers.
As Chairman of Financial Service Centers of America (FiSCA), Joe helped educate regulators about lower income consumer needs.
He is also a grantee of Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and the Ford Foundation to develop Cash & Stash, a savings program.
