A life-long resident of the Bronx, Dolores was the first Latina in the Bronx to serve as an Insurance Agent for the Allstate Insurance Company. In 2000, she became an Exclusive Agent, launching the Dolores Batista Agency. In 2013, she expanded her business, under the new name of Karma Business Group LLC.
In addition to BICNY, Dolores has held director positions on several boards that support key initiatives in the Bronx.
Dolores was named one of the 25 Influential Women in the Bronx in 2013 by The Bronx Times Reporter.
