Daniel began his catering career over 29 years ago as a bartender for Nuestro Tesoro Catering. In 1990, he became an entrepreneur and founded Salsa Caterers. In 2007, in collaboration with Goya Foods, he launched Salsa Express–making history as the first Latino-owned food concession in Yankee Stadium.
Daniel has been recognized as Crain’s Small Business Person of the Year, just one of several prestigious awards he’s received.
After receiving his Bachelors in Philosophy from Hamilton College, Daniel continued his education at New York University.
